Grand County sophomore Kylah Ricks won the girls 3A title at the Utah UHSAA Cross Country State Championships at Sugarhouse Park. Ricks covered the 3-mile course in 19:09.8, an improvement of more than 20 seconds from her runner-up finish last year, leading Grand County to a second-place finish by a 62-89 margin behind Morgan.
